This G-SPEED Global Limited Warranty (“Limited Warranty”) is provided by GLOBLE VILLAGE EUROPE, registered under SIREN 945 262 319, with its registered office at 1 Rue Carnot, 94700 Maisons-Alfort, France (“G-SPEED”, “we”, “us”).
This Limited Warranty applies to new G-SPEED branded e-bikes purchased from G-SPEED or an authorized G-SPEED retailer or distributor, subject to the terms below.
1. Warranty Coverage
G-SPEED warrants covered products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use and when assembled, operated, maintained and stored in accordance with the applicable user manual and G-SPEED instructions.
Complete Bike — 2 Years
The original G-SPEED e-bike and its original equipment are covered for two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the exclusions in this Limited Warranty.
This includes original electrical and mechanical components supplied with the bicycle, including the motor, battery, controller, display, charger and other original equipment, except normal wear items and other exclusions stated below.
Frame — 5 Years
The structural integrity of the original G-SPEED frame is covered for five (5) years from the date of original retail purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.
The frame warranty covers the structural frame only. It does not include paint, graphics, cosmetic finish, bearings, suspension components, pivot hardware, replaceable hangers, fasteners or other removable components.
2. Battery Coverage
The original battery supplied with the bicycle is included within the 2-year Complete Bike warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Normal reduction in battery capacity resulting from age, usage, charging cycles, temperature, storage conditions or ordinary wear is not itself considered a manufacturing defect.
Damage caused by improper charging, incompatible chargers, deep discharge, improper storage, immersion, physical damage or unauthorized modification is not covered.
3. Third-Party Components
Components manufactured by third parties may also carry separate warranties from their respective manufacturers.
Where applicable, G-SPEED or an authorized retailer may assist in coordinating a third-party warranty claim. Any separate third-party warranty does not reduce rights provided under this Limited Warranty or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
4. What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, failure or deterioration resulting from normal wear and tear; improper assembly, maintenance or repair; crash, collision, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect; overloading beyond published limits; racing, stunts or use outside the bicycle's intended category; commercial, rental or fleet use unless specifically approved by G-SPEED; corrosion or environmental damage; improper transportation or storage; water immersion or inappropriate high-pressure cleaning; unauthorized software, firmware or speed modifications; derestriction or tuning of the drive system; incompatible or improperly installed parts or accessories; removal or alteration of the serial number; or continued use after a defect or damage becomes apparent.
Normal wear items include, without limitation, tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains, cassettes, chainrings, grips, cables, seals and other components that naturally wear through normal riding. A manufacturing defect in such an item may still be covered where applicable.
Paint, finish, graphics, scratches, fading and other cosmetic deterioration are not covered unless caused by a verified manufacturing defect.
Theft and loss are not covered.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To initiate a claim, contact the authorized G-SPEED retailer from which the bicycle was purchased or contact G-SPEED at:
The claimant may be asked to provide:
proof of purchase; bicycle model and serial number; description of the issue; photographs or video; and any additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
The bicycle or affected component may need to be inspected by G-SPEED or an authorized service partner before coverage can be confirmed.
6. Warranty Remedy
If a claim is approved under this Limited Warranty, G-SPEED will, at its reasonable discretion, repair the defective product or component, replace it with the same or a functionally equivalent product or component, or provide another remedy where required by applicable law.
Replacement parts may differ in colour, specification or appearance where the original part is no longer reasonably available, provided the replacement is functionally appropriate.
Approved shipping, transport, diagnosis and labour will be handled according to the applicable market service process and mandatory local law. Costs that have not been authorized in advance by G-SPEED may not be reimbursed except where required by law.
Repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless required by applicable law.
7. Geographic Scope
Warranty service is normally provided in the country or market in which the bicycle was originally purchased.
Claims made outside the original market of purchase may require additional transport, service arrangements or processing and remain subject to applicable mandatory consumer law.
8. Original Purchase
This commercial Limited Warranty is intended for the original retail purchaser of the bicycle unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Proof of original retail purchase is required. Product registration is recommended but is not a condition that limits mandatory statutory consumer rights.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, G-SPEED will not be liable under this Limited Warranty for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from a covered product defect.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
10. European Union Consumer Rights
This G-SPEED Limited Warranty is a voluntary commercial warranty and is in addition to, and does not replace or restrict, statutory consumer rights.
Consumers in the European Union benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity against the seller. Under EU rules, this protection lasts for at least two years from delivery, and some Member States provide additional or longer protection.
Where goods are not in conformity with the contract, consumers may be entitled to remedies including repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination/refund.
These statutory rights apply independently of the G-SPEED commercial warranty.
11. United States Consumer Rights
This warranty is a LIMITED WARRANTY.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties that may apply are limited to the duration permitted by law. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, or exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so such limitations may not apply to you.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
12. Governing Consumer Protections
Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under the law of their country, state or place of residence where those rights cannot legally be waived.
